This documentary is an initiative of No'kmaq Village - the Mi'kmaq membership & citizenship of Flat Bay East, West and St. Teresa's. L'nug Agnutmaqan "The Native's Story" is a profile of the Flat Bay Mi'kmaq. We are concentrating mainly on the past but will reveal short sketches of the present and where we are heading in future. Through various interviews with the people, the film will give the viewer a glimpse of the way of life experienced in the community. This story will be revealed through short scenes of the various cultural activities currently taking place and sketches of the youth who realize that they must bear the weight of the past and carry it into the future if the revival of the culture is to survive.
